Aerola cosmetic tattooing; it can do

  • Create a realistic 3D-looking nipple/areola
  • Restore colour lost from surgery or scarring
  • Improve symmetry between breasts
  • Help reduce the visual impact of scars

    Is it painful?

    • Most people report mild discomfort.
    • Sensation varies depending on whether nerves were affected during surgery.

    Healing & sessions

    • Typically 1–3 sessions for best results
    • Healing takes about 7–days, with full colour settling over a few weeks

    Preparing for your procedure

To ensure the best outcome for your areola tattooing procedure, follow these guidelines: avoid Vitamin E, caffeine, alcohol, and salty foods 24 hours beforehand, as they can increase bleeding. Refrain from taking Advil, Aspirin, and Ibuprofen due to their blood-thinning effects.

During your consultation, we will determine the tattoo’s colour and size by sketching the design on your breast. Once approved, we can proceed with the tattooing.

Remember, the initial colour may fade by 30-40% in the first week, which is normal. The procedure typically takes 90-120 minutes, with a touch-up session scheduled after 4-8 weeks for optimal results.

    Aerola Aftercare recomendation

The recovery time following areola tattooing is generally quick, with any swelling in the treated area typically subsiding within a few days. The area should return to normal relatively soon after the procedure.

During the healing process, it is normal for the tattooed area to develop scabs. It is crucial not to pick at these scabs, as it could lead to infection or removal of color from the tattoo. Let the scabs naturally slough off as part of the healing process.

For the first 7 days after the procedure, it is best to avoid hot tubs or baths to prevent excessive moisture or exposure to potentially contaminated water. Additionally, it is advisable to limit direct sunlight exposure for up to 6 weeks to protect the tattooed area and prevent fading or discoloration.

Following the aftercare instructions provided by us is essential for proper healing and long-lasting results. Remember to give yourself time to heal and follow the recommended aftercare routine to ensure the best possible outcome for your areola tattooing.
