Liver Spots & Solar Lentigines

Also called liver spots and solar lentigines.                                                  Flat tan, brown or black spots. They vary in size and usually appear on the face, hands, shoulders and arms, areas most exposed to the sun. Age spots are very common in adults older than age 40.

Skin Tag

Skin tags are very common small soft skin growths, harmless but can be annoying. A common skin growth that looks like a small piece of hanging skin often described as bits of skin or flesh-colored tissue that project from the surrounding skin from a small, narrow stalk.

Many people can find the lesions cosmetically unattractive. Some removal methods may result in scarring or color changes in affected skin regions.  

Telangiectasia

Telangiectasia is a benign skin condition that can occur in otherwise healthy people. The causes of telangiectasia are unknown, but researchers think they may be genetic, environmental, or a combination of both. It’s believed the most common causes of telangiectasia are chronic exposure to the sun and extreme heat or cold. 

To prevent telangiectasia, protect your skin from the sun and extreme temperatures. Telangiectasia is a condition in which widened venules (tiny blood vessels) cause threadlike red lines or patterns on the skin.

Cherry Angiomas

Cherry angiomas are common skin growths that can develop in most areas of your body. They are also known as senile angiomas or Campbell de Morgan spots. They are usually found on people aged 30 and older. The broken blood vessels inside a cherry angioma give them a reddish appearance.
